Greetings music lovers and welcome to my online home! I’m a crossover artist from Memphis, TN. If you check out my resume, you’ll see that I love performing opera, oratorio, and music-theater and have 10 years of performing experience in New York City before moving to Memphis. When not performing, I teach private voice and acting for singers out of my home studio. I have a passion for bringing characters to life through the systematic combination of music and acting in my own performances and those of my students. It is so rewarding to see unnecessary vocal tension fall away with the distraction of well focused acting and solid vocal technique thrown in. I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in vocal performance from Clayton College (GA) and Queens College (NY) respectively and keep in shape by taking semi-regular lessons myself with Randal Rushing. Yes, professional singers of all stripes have a lesson every now and then. That extra set of ears proves invaluable at cleaning up dusty audition songs and preparing new roles. In addition to my vocal training, I have also studied music theater performance and acting for singers at NYU. It is valuable training that I use to this day, no matter the venue or genre.

I am currently preparing the Archangel Uriel for Haydn's Creation, to perform with the Rhodes Mastersingers and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra at 7:30pm on April 6th at McNeil Hall, formerly known as Evergreen Presbyterian Church.

I am also currently accepting new voice students.  Just click on the Voice Lessons link if you are curious.  I have students from high school to retirement age singing music theater, classical, and even bluegrass in venues around the city!  In addition, one of my students will be in the upcoming Miss Tennessee Pageant.

I remain ever grateful to my wife, Pam, for singing countless hours of Spamalot, Avenue Q, and Something Rotten with me in the car and at sea, and to my family and friends for their unwavering support, love, and good humor in my many musical adventures.
